Recently, we worked with Hannah Nguyen to secure a loan for our new home, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her help. Initially, we started with the builder’s preferred lender because they offered certain “discounts.” However, the process was extremely slow and frustrating. The loan officer took a long time to respond, and it felt like they assumed we needed them more than they needed us as a customer. After weeks of delays and multiple follow-ups from our agent, we were eventually told that we did not qualify—right when we were approaching our closing deadline.
